OnePlus Turbo 7 Pro Leaks Point to 185Hz Display, 3nm Snapdragon Chip, and Massive 10,000mAh Battery
Smartphone enthusiasts and mobile gamers might have something massive to look forward to. A fresh leak regarding an alleged OnePlus Turbo 7 Pro has surfaced online, hinting at a power-packed device designed specifically for high-performance users. The leak comes from renowned industry tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) via Weibo, shedding light on what could be one of the most extreme performance-oriented smartphones from OnePlus yet.
According to the insider, the OnePlus Turbo 7 Pro could make its official debut in China later this year alongside the upcoming OnePlus Ace 7 series.
Blazing Fast Display and Next-Gen 3nm Performance
The standout feature of the rumored OnePlus Turbo 7 Pro is its screen. The leak suggests the device will sport a 6.78-inch flat 1.5K display boasting an unprecedented 185Hz refresh rate. If true, this higher refresh rate will offer exceptionally fluid animations and superior high-frame-rate gaming experiences compared to standard 120Hz or 144Hz panels.
Under the hood, the smartphone is tipped to run on Qualcomm’s unannounced 3nm SM8845 Pro chipset. Depending on Qualcomm’s final naming convention, this silicon could hit the market as either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Pro.
To keep thermals under control during intense gaming sessions, DCS claims OnePlus is testing an external cooling fan accessory. This active cooling system will reportedly attach to the phone using a specialized protective case via pogo pin contacts.
Monstrous 10,000mAh Battery and 200MP Camera
Power delivery appears to be another massive highlight for the Turbo 7 Pro. While early estimates suggested a high-capacity battery around 9,000mAh, recent reports indicate that engineering samples for the device have successfully reached a staggering 10,000mAh battery capacity.
In the camera department, the device is expected to pack a 200MP primary sensor, bringing heavy-duty photography capabilities alongside its gaming focus.
